The vertical lifeline ropes are created for a single worker and can take the place of a lanyard while horizontal lifeline ropes can be used by several workers at once for fall arrest. The wire rope is available in a 1x19 strand left hand lay construction or white pvc coated 7x7 right hand lay construction. 3 strand rope 3 strand ropes usually have a lower breaking strength than double braid or kernmantle rope. This is a result of normal everyday wear.

Vertical lifelines are designed for a single worker. Blue poly steel is ten times stronger than polypropylene. Lifelines are typically either 3 strand rope or kernmantle rope because the properties of both of these ropes uniquely suit them for lifeline applications. You can get a 100 rope lifeline if you need to.

While the rope will become fibrous this does not mean it needs to be replaced. Lifeline rope is available in vertical and horizontal lifelines. They usually take the place of lanyard in the fall protection world and come in much greater lengths. A horizontal lifeline rope is typically installed high above the workers.

They are offered in lengths ranging from 30 to 50 and are made from grade 316 stainless steel providing maximum corrosion resistance and durability.
